Fashion And Different Types of Fashion

We know that these days everyone is running behind fashion. Fashion has been an important part of every person's life these days. People follow different Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities for fashion. Fashion is something which has become one of the main essences of a person's lifestyle.

What is Fashion?

Fashion is basically anything which is related to sense of dress, way of dressing, way of carrying the outfits, accessorizing the outfits and so on.

There are namely eight types of fashion which is being followed and these are as follows:-

  1. Classic style: This style of fashion is fashion where people love the basic classic way of carrying them not much hotchpotch. It is a style which is basically classic style with formal touch such as men wearing black pants and white shirts is an example of classic style fashion.
  2. Formal Style: When a person wants to attend an office meeting or a function where he/she needs to dress up formally is known as formal style of dressing. This type of dressing includes dresses like a blazer, shirt and pants and so on.
  3. Bohemian style: This type of style includes a funky style of dressing which gives you an artistic vibe in your dressing. This sort of dressing gives you a vibe which is a mixture of different cultures and styles. In this sort of style we can see a lot of use of fringes of thread, animal prints and so on.
  4. Vintage style: This design is being inspired by the old time look or vintage look. We have seen how royal families of India used to dress up like fashion during 70’s and 80’s movies all covered in vintage style of dressing. Following up the fashion from Mugal-e-azam in today’s time is an example of vintage style of dressing.
  5. Ethnic style: We as Indians follow this style immensely as every Indian woman and a girl wear ethnic wear for their functions, weddings and so on and similarly boys or mens too follow it for their functions, weddings and so on. Dresses like Salwar suits, sarees and so on are examples of ethnic wear in women and whereas sherwani, kurta pajamas are examples of traditional wear in men.
  6. Casual style: This style is a style which both men and women follow in their day to day life. This is a comfortable style of clothing which is being worn for their daily outings and regular casual look. Going for a coffee, what do you prefer wearing something casual. Casual style of clothing includes t-shirts, jeans and so on.
  7. Sporty style: Sporty style of dressing includes dressing which is being done for a workout, morning walk or any other sports event. Dresses worn by sportsmen for playing games or wearing joggers and t-shirts for your morning yoga classes are a perfect example of sporty style of dressing.
  8. Street style: It is fashion which has emerged from major urban areas. Fashion which is seen in magazines, shoots and newspapers for styling is known as street style.
